She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Chapin and Fayma Chapin; her husband Tyrone Freeman; her brother Breckinridge; her sister-in-law Barbara Chapin; her niece Sally; her nephew-in-law Guy Schweizer; and her great-niece Catherine Grace Chapin.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Lynne Freeman Kirnon and Marc Freeman (Desrene); her nephew Bill Chapin (Amy); and her nieces, Lauren Edsall (Jake) and Polly Grebe (Dave). She is also survived by four step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Baldi Funeral Home (1331 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19147). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Nancy's wishes were for donations to be made to the SPCA or any organization of your choice. (Nancy was never a big fan of Cut Flowers—preferring to enjoy them in the gardens.
