It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa B. Carpenter (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Melissa departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Melissa may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Melissa leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bill Carpenter; her daughter Heather Murray (Harry); her parents, Robert Patrone and Barbara Patrone; her siblings, Renee O'Connell (late James "Oakie" O'Connell) and Lynn Miller (George); and her close friend Joanie Chiancone. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Gabriel's Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gabriel's Church (2917 Dickinson St, Philadelphia, PA 19146).
