He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lan Kim Chau; his children, Michael Nghi, Kelly Phuong, Jacqui Thanh and Nghia Lam; his children-in-law, Kien, Hoang and Hing (John); and his grandchildren, Shawn, Jessica Lam, Michele, David Huynh, Kevin, Chris, Katelyn Khov, Katelynn, Kenny and Thomas Lam. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
