She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rafter and Rita Rafter; her husband John "Miggy" VanDerVort, Sr.; and her siblings, Bill and Moreen Rafter.
She is survived by: her sons, John Jr. (Desiree), Martin Van DerVort and Patrick VanDerVort; her grandchildren, Veronica, John III, MacKenna, Samantha and Hope; and her great grandchild Devontae House.
