Though Julia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Julia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emaline Zaidan and Joseph Zaidan; her husband Dr. John McDermit; and her brothers, Peter Zaidan and John Zaidan.
She is survived by: her daughter Paula McDermit; her son-in-law Kenneth Keefer; and her sisters, Diane Dahdah and Yvonne Ackourey. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Rita of Cascia Church (1166 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19146). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
