Though Julia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Julia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emaline Zaidan and Joseph Zaidan; her husband Dr. John McDermit; and her brothers, Peter Zaidan and John Zaidan.
She is survived by: her daughter Paula McDermit; her son-in-law Kenneth Keefer; and her sisters, Diane Dahdah and Yvonne Ackourey. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers family request donations be made in her memory to St. Rita of Cascia Church 1166 S Broad St Phila.
