He is survived by: his children, Len (Lisa), Karen Barr (John), Anthony (Suzanne), Thomas (Holly), Christine and Donna; his grandchildren, John Barr (Michelle), Jessica Highland (Laura), Leonard, Nicholas (Stephanie), Emily (Anthony), Grace (David), Daniel and Julia DeMalto (Dominic); his great grandchildren, John Jr., Max Barr, Noah, Avery Jackson, Willa Highland, Owen and Brody DeMalto; and his significant other Joan Kern.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (119 Rector St, Philadelphia, PA 19127). A Mass was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
