He was predeceased by: his sibling Alice Gay. He is survived by: his spouse Joanne; his children, John Thompson (Mary) and Carol DellaPolla (Frankie); and his siblings, Barbara Evangelisto (Gil), Kathie Marshall (Gil), Gloria Steinbronn and Millard "PeeWee" Thompson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made in his memory to St. Monica Church.
