He is survived by: his spouse Willie Myers; his mother Martha Sinclair Staley; his sisters, Darlene Grafton (Glenn) and Sharon Lapiska (John); his nieces, Laura, Rebecca and Rose; his nephew Joshua; and his siblings-in-law, Geva, Gea, Clara Myers, Carletha Shakoor, Karl Myers and Richard Thomas.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19114).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in John's memory to the Burholme Baptist Church, 905 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
