It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Lawler (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George F. Lawler and Dorothy Lawler; her siblings, Dorothy Isaacs (Carl), Marianne Marchegiano (Michael) and George Lawler (Mary Jean); and her nieces and nephews, Karen, Kristin, Lauren, Gregory and Ryan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Richard's Church (1826 Pollock St, Philadelphia, PA 19145). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery (1600 Sproul Rd, Broomall, PA 19064).
