Joan Amicone Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Amicone (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Joan departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joan. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her husband Michael; and her siblings, Marie Meighan, Helene Misner and Edward Lacovara. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Kelly (Charles) and Michael Amicone; and her grandchildren, Margaret, Charles and Erin Kelly. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Monica's Church (2242 S 17th St, Philadelphia, PA 19145). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
