With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Mooney of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 22, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mooney and Margaret Mooney; his wife Mary Ellen; his daughter Patricia; his granddaughter Tammy Murray; and his son-in-law David Cettei.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Cettei, Rosie Murray (Bob) and Maureen Rogowski (Joe); and his brother Thom (Steve). He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
