He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Smith and Aletha Smith; and his son James Jeffery. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Smith; his daughters, Jennifer and Melissa (Wayne); his grandchildren, Patricia, Autumn, James, Evan, Madison and Zoe; his great grandchildren, Frankie, Jordon, Anthony and Rylnn; and his brothers, Denny, Kenny, Richie, Johnny, Billy and Bobby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to The American Cancer Society in James' name would be greatly appreciated.
