We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2024, at the age of 82, Helen Tompkins (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Helen's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Helen has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband LaRue Tompkins. She is survived by: her children, Beth McLeod (Doug) and David Tompkins (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Andrew Tompkins (Heather), James McLeod, Kelly McLeod, Madie Gerber-Vazquez, Collin Tompkins and Keri Tompkins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lambie Funeral Home (8000 Rowland Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19136). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (1605 Union Ave, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08110).
