With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harry Dennis Ballas of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Ballas and Anna Ballas; his sibling Spiro Ballas; and his siblings-in-law, Dimitrios Maris (Eleanor), George Maris (AnnMarie), Konstantinos Maris (Sue) and Despina Milnik (John).
He is survived by: his spouse Argetta "Teta"; and his sister Marianne Svoronos (late George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (7921 Old York Rd, Elkins Park, PA 19027). A Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Resurrection Cemetery (5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Annunciation Church in Harry's name.
