Gertrude McElroy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude McElroy (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Gifford and Evangeline Gifford; her sibling Jean Radetzky; and her husband Joseph McElroy. She is survived by: her son Michael; her grandchildren, Michele McQuoid (Arthur), Melanie Levy (Brian), Michael McElroy, Missy Sofronski (Jason), Timothy McElroy, Paul McElroy (Nina) and Gertrude; and her niece Carol Pineo.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and at 11:30 AM at the John F. Givnish Life Celebration Home (10975 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154).
The Family would prefer Mass cards or donations to the SPCA.
