It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W. Preston of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sisters, April McDevitt and Dorothy Preston; his brother-in-law Richard Girard; and his mother Aileen Preston. He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Keith, Karl and Kerri Peppelman (George); his grandchildren, Isabella Preston, Josie Peppelman and Rowan Peppelman; his siblings, Gary, Joseph (Lillian), Nancy Bartelle (Anthony) and Aileen Staffieri (Mark); and his brother-in-law Gregory Girard (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests any donations be made in George's memory to the following organizations that he was fond of: Pennsylvania SPCA Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Palmer Cemetery.
