With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emilio R Matticoli (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Emilio departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his daughter Michael-Ann Matticoli (Michael Cooper); his brother Ferdinand Matticoli (Fred); and his brothers-in-law, Michael Biello and Dan Martin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

“Emilio was a member of the Columbus Forum Lodge 1492, Order Sons of Italy in America, since its inception in 1969. He was President of the Lodge from 1979-1983. He recieved an award in 1987 and 1996 for his contributions in the field of Education and service to the Lodge. Emilio attend the Forum's Awards dinner each year. He will be missed our next dinner in March. Marylouise DeNicola, Forum member”
