In loving memory of Ellien Melendez Sr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on June 10, 2024 at the age of 76. Ellien leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Adela Melendez (Pedroza) and Higinio Melendez. He is survived by : his wife Migdalia Melendez; his children, Ellie, Scottie Ann, Briana Victoria and Ellien Melendez, Jr.; his grandchildren, Briana Page, Malik, Imani, Ismaela, Noor, Sadira, Anna and Mateo; his great grandchildren, Joseph and Dom; and his siblings, Lucian, Julio, Yolanda and Inginio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home (10975 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154). A memorial service was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
