He is survived by: his children, James Burbano (Karen) and Gregory Burbano; and his siblings, Aida Aquilar, Gloria Burbano, Eloise Burbano and Soeur Maria Xavier. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family requests donations in Diego's name to IHM Memorial Fund.
