He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose E. Temple III and Gloria Maxine Temple; and his brothers, Ambrose IV and Benjamin Temple. He is survived by: his wife Pernice; his children, Nicole and Calvin; his stepchildren, Latanya, Dedra, Tyras (Charlotte) and Robert (Tammi); his sisters, Toni, Gloria Emberson (Eddie) and Donna; and his siblings-in-law, Maureen, Sheila Temple, Betsy Wells, Eddie Emberson and Larry Wells. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
