With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allen J. Gilson Jr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 91. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Allen leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Gilson (Betty); and his granddaughter Lizzy Gilson. He is survived by: his children, Joe Gilson (Penny), Patty Nash (Stan), Liz Wilson (Dave), Pete Gilson (Linda) and Jim Gilson (Colleen).
