He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Ann Thompson (Johnson); his daughter Marla Bodnar (Jacqueline); his granddaughters, Alisha Michael (John) and Kelsey Bodnar (Jordan Ruby); his great grandchildren, Layla and Mason Michael; and his siblings, Jill Geidner (Edward) of Grove City, P. Kevin Thompson (Deborah) of Boyers, Scott K. Thompson of Petrolia and Clyde Martsolf of Chardon Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
