It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George L. Thatcher Sr. of Petersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 3, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marianne Gross; his son George L. Thatcher, Jr.; and his siblings, Charles, Carl "Bill", John Thatcher, Martha Dixon, Beatrice Brenneman and Mildred McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his daughter Silvia A. Hess (Wayne); his grandsons, Dustin and Nolan Hess; his great grandchild Willow Hess Brown; and his grandsons, Charmain S. Brooks (Kevin) and Noah Brooks.
