He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Earl and Clara Rebecca Scott (Whitesel). He is survived by: his wife Martha Inez McFarland; his son Danny M. Scott (Bonnie) of Petersburg; and his stepson George W. Mills, Sr. (Jean) of Alexandria. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
