She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip P. Hess and Frances Hess (Adams); and her nephew Ty Mowery. She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Younkins (Richard) of Davenport, FL; her granddaughter Katie Dillon (William) of Slippery Rock; her great grandchild Cooper Dillon; her close friend Doug Kerr; her nephew Brian Mowery (Janet) of Altoona; and also, Shelly Ivory of Altoona, Andy Kerr of Clayton, NC, Barbara Hess (Michael Despot) of Altoona and Ray Hess (Linda) of Petersburg.
A reception was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Inc. (2309 Broad Ave, Altoona, PA 16601).
