It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Opeka of Peters, Pennsylvania, born in Lawrence, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 15, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Opeka, Jr.; her children, Donald Opeka (Terri) of Broomfield, Nancy Barnard (Bill) of Upper St and Dale Opeka (Rene) of McMurray; her grandchildren, Ginger Benne (Dave), John Opeka (Janel), Sarah Opeka, Mike Barnard (Alicia), Ryan Opeka (Roni), Aaron Barnard, Laura DeSimone (John), Evan Opeka and Ross Opeka; and her sisters, Jennie Zuzek of Canonsburg and Elsie Chesnik.
