He is survived by: his wife Faye Newport Hegyes; his children, Mark Hegyes (Lisa Lawrence Hegyes), Kelli Hegyes Ohler (Rob Ohler) and Dawn Hegyes Shanefelter (late Thomas Shanefelter, Jr.); his grandchildren, Aaron Hegyes, Megan Hegyes Leonard (Dustin Leonard), Darin Ohler (Lauren) and Robert Ohler; his great grandchildren, Natalee Ohler of Perryopolis and Griffyn Leonard of Perryopolis; his siblings, Richard Hegyes (late Cheryl Pravlik Hegyes) of Mount Pleasant, Penny Hegyes of Perryopolis and Robert Hegyes of Layton Hill, Dawson; his nephew Mike Hegyes (Melaney); his great-nephew Michael of Mount Pleasant; his nephew Scott Hegyes (Cliff) of Las Vegas; and also Danielle Hegyes of Perryopolis.
