He was predeceased by: his parents, Attorney Joseph R Rygiel Sr. and Erma M Tonozzi Rygiel. He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Jamie Lynne Rygiel of York; his brother Stanley A Rygiel (Kathy) of Fayette City; his nieces, Kristie Rygiel Debor (Matthew) and Jennifer Koliscak (Joe Stein); his nephew Greg Buretz (Melissa); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan Buretz, Adam Buretz, Lorey Buretz, Madelyn Kolisack and Luke Koliscak; and his friend Becky Slattery.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette City Vol. Fire Co. or the American Cancer Society.
