She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Hickernell and Emily Hickernell (Leibig); her husband Harry J. Harris; and her brothers, Clifford Hickernell, Jay Hickernell and William Hickernell, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Craig A. Harris of Washington, Keith A. Harris of Washington Boro, Kim A. Harris of Pequea and Kerry J. Harris of Maine; and her siblings, Lorraine Eberly, Joyce Raihl, Donald Hickernell and Neal Hickernell. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
