He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Martin and Doris Havercamp Martin; his grandchildren, Taylor and Tarin Sweitzer; and his sister Jenell Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Herr Martin; his children, Deana (Don Hess) of Pequea, Steven (Kelly McGallicher Martin) of Holtwood and Nicole (Christopher Zug) of Pequea; and his sisters, Donna (late Richard Lermeny) and Sandy (Terry Bender) of Lancaster.
