She was predeceased by: her husband B. Daniel Hess; her parents, Adam Martin and Katie Hornberger Martin; her grandson Stephen Trent Gehman; and her brothers, Harold, Irvin, Leon and Melvin Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Faye (Samuel Gehman) of Peach Bottom, Marlene Kaye Hess of Pequea, Shirlene Maye (Todd Miller) of Manheim, Daniel Raye (Mary Ramsbottom Hess) and Marlin Jaye Hess of Pequea; and her siblings, Mildred Kennel of Parkesburg, Arlene (Melvin Graver) of Lancaster, Verna (Earl Martin) of New Holland and Galen (Barb Martin) of Narvon. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
