She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Dorothy Marie Haldeman; and her siblings, Marie Gainer, Ira, Roy and Rae Haldeman.
She is survived by: her husband James Hess Jr.; her daughters, Rowena L. Hess of Willow Street and Brenda L. Hess (Fred) of Quarryville; her grandchildren, Kari Johnson, Rowena Hess and Joshua Hess; her great grandchildren, Erin Johnson, Esther Johnson, Clint Johnson, Dean Johnson and Holden Hess; and her siblings, Robert Haldeman Jr., Stella Labezius, Guy Haldeman (Tracy) and Rowena Kenneson (Bob).
