She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Eugene Mendelsohn (Bud). She is survived by: her siblings, Herman, Gertrude, Morris and Sidney; and her children, Jay, Louise, Barbara, Steve and Elaine.

She demonstrated her positive regard for others in her daily life and set a strong example for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of inclusion and charity of spirit.
