Mary E. Kilgus Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary E. Kilgus of Pennsdale, Pennsylvania, born in Muncy, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick P. Kilgus; her parents, Alvin Houseknecht and Hazel Houseknecht (Smith); her son Michael Kilgus; and her siblings, Lee, Jay Houseknecht and Jane Yoder.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Morrison (Stephen) of Jamison and Beth Stringfellow (Scott) of Bel Air, MD; her daughter-in-law Becky Kilgus of Morgantown, WV; and her grandchildren, Carrie Quarry (William), Jordan Stringfellow (Patti), Kellie Stringfellow, Tanner Polce (Shelby), Kelsie Hardesty (J. D.), Lindsay Bennett (Austin), Michael Morrison and Sean Morrison (Jamee). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home - Hughesville (557 E Water St, Hughesville, PA 17737). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home (557 E Water St, Hughesville, PA 17737).
