It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harriet Jane Gleason of Pennsdale, Pennsylvania, born in Unityville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen C. Long and Veda E. Long (Myers); her husband LeRoy S. Gleason; and her brother George Long. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Betsy" A. Yerg (Nelson Allen) of Montoursville, James "Jim" O. Gleason (Kathy Fox) of Pennsdale and Irvin C. L. Gleason (Katherine) of Pennsdale; her sister Lois Gilot of Woodlands, TX; her grandchildren, Chad Yerg, Kristi Blackwell, James "Jacob" Gleason, Joshua Gleason and Jillian Harm; and her great grandchildren, Kilee Yerg, Katie Yerg, Kamdyn Gleason and James Gleason. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In Harriet's memory, memorial contributions may be made to UPMC Palliative Care, for the efforts of Rose Mattie Ace and Dr. Karl Ahlfwede 1100 Grampian Blvd. 3rd Fl.
