It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alford R. Sheppard (Pennsdale, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 6, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Alford Sheppard; his wife Nellie M. Sheppard (Potter); and his siblings, Ray Sheppard, Laura Hathaway and Samuel Sheppard.

He is survived by: his parent Bertha Sheppard (Giffin); his children, Louise Travelpiece of Danville, PA, Jim Potter of Union Springs, NY and Russell N.; his wife Linda Hetrick, Jr. of Turbotville, PA; his sister Lillian Sheppard of Reynoldsburg, OH.; and also Sandra (John Fry) of Pennsdale. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
