He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Thomas and Flossie Thomas (Keyser); his children, Barbara Niemi and Robert Thomas; and his siblings, Earl, Carl, Eleanor, Lorraine, Doreen, Wayne and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Dolly Thomas (Ott); his sister Faith Sideris; and his children, Donald Laudenslager, Sandra, David Higman, I. V. and Christine Thomas. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
