He was predeceased by: his wife Sally J. Hein (Bittenbender); his parents, Albert Hein and Elda Hein (Wink); and his siblings, Stanley Hein, Esther Schadler, Robert Hein, Gladys Moats and Joyce Klotz.
He is survived by: his children, Scot P. A. Hein of Pennsburg and Nicole E. (Jeff Kuestner) of East Greenville; his grandchildren, Alissa and Mason; and his brother Lester Hein (Harriet) of Palm.
