He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta May (Hamilton) and Lloyd Leonard Simpson; his stepmothers, Lois Simpson and Cathy A. Simpson; his daughter Martharuth Simpson; his grandson Adam; and his sisters, Mary Ellen and Iva Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, Dolores McMillen of Pennsburg, Tammi Kratz (Kenneth) of Boyertown, Kristle Simpson (Brad Smith) of Pennsburg, Michelle Simpson, Mary Simpson Hancock and Jonathan Boyd-Simpson (Sara); and his grandchildren, Logan, Madison, Makena, Bryce, Brayden, Noah, Jason, Allie and Tressie. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
