With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Franks (Pennsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Genevieve Franks (Fuller); and his parents, Charles Franks and Cassie Franks (Jakimorus). He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer (John Urbanek) of East Greenville and Janet (Michael Barrasso) of Waynesboro, PA; his grandchildren, Jared Urbanek (Carol) of Pomona, NY, Justin Barrasso (Sabrina) of Frederick, MD and Dr. Rachael Urbanek (Kevin Cassel) of Wilmington, NC; and his great grandchildren, Rowan Cassel and Genevieve Barrasso.
Private graveside services will be at the Lithuanian Cemetery in Owl Creek, PA, In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Lake Hauto Beautification Committee, 140 Maple Terrace, Nesquehoning, PA 18240.
