He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Rader (Deysher) and Norman Rader; and his siblings, Ernest, Warren and Mamie Kriebel.

He is survived by: his spouse Fay Rader (Schwager) of Bechtelsville; his daughter Nadine K. Lydic; his grandsons, Kurt A. Lydic (Jamie) and Jeffrey A. Lydic; his great grandchildren, Anna, Hailey and Jacoby; and his brother Gary L. Rader (Betty).

Contributions may be made in Curtis's memory to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
