He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Alverda Smith (Kulp); and his siblings, Eva, Arthur, Ida, Arlene, Warren, Betty, Earl and Dale.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores "DeeDee" Smith (Yerk); his children, Lynn (Ron Sturdevant), Todd Smith (Lisa) and Kyle Smith; his grandchildren, Adam, Kayla, Taylor and Matt; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Adalynn, Aliviyah, Mary, Mila, Kaylee and Mackenzie.
