He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hastings and Marie Hastings McHugh (Gunning); and his sons, Mark Hastings and Thomas R. Hastings Jr.. He is survived by: his son-in-law Bryan Waldron; his siblings, Sam Hastings, Catherine, Ann Powers, Marie Hammond and Margaret Charleton; his children, Charles Hastings (Bernadith) and Melissa Hastings-Waldron; his grandchildren, Alexandra Hastings and Ben Hastings; his sister Barbara Hastings of Hilo, Hawaii.; and his friends, Chuck, Bob, Hoover, Paulies and Jacks.
He gave the Covid-19 Virus a long, hard fight to the end.
