He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Howell and Edna Rush Howell; his wife Verna Schneck Howell; and his brothers, Robert Howell and George Lesher, III.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Morone of Palmer Twp, Faith Wildrick (William) of Plainfield Twp, Richard Howell (BrendaLee) of Nazareth and Kimberly Drogo (Anthony) of Forks Twp; and also Carol Roiger of Rising Sun, MD.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital at 3551 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, Pa. 19140.
