He was predeceased by: his parents, Nasto Silan and Mary Silan (Prascsak); his son Joseph Silan; and his brothers, George and Robert Silan.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth A. Silan (Winder); his children, Thomas A. Silan, Jr. (Nikki Lucas) and Darlene Lucarelli (Tony); his grandchildren, Ryan Silan (Brooke Denlinger), Stephanie Grode (Mark) and Brandon Lucas (Amanda); his great grandchild Emily Grode; his sister Mary Ann Repak (Jim); his sister-in-law Mary Silan; and his niece Kathy Coyle Kick. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
