It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas M. Desmond Sr. of Penn, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Desmond and Margaret Desmond (Cole); and his sister Colleen (Desmond) Smeltzer (Rome). He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Desmond (Loutsenhizer); his children, Barbara Desmond, Tammy Haas (Christopher) and Thomas M. Desmond Jr. (Denise); and his grandchildren, Michael Walker, Heather Yarrington, Brittanie Naff, Trista Desmond and Nicole Desmond. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
