He was predeceased by: his parents, Elaine Kelly and Lee Courtnage; his stepparents, Henri Courtnage and Lou Kelly; and his pets, Charlie and Jasmine.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Jr., Tyler and Keri (Collin); his wife Kim Courtnage; his mother-in-law Dorothy Burke; and his siblings, Kara, Kelly (Mark) and Shawn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
