She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Nellis and Lula Maybelle Shaylor Nellis; her son Mark Collins; and her siblings, Betty Gaenzle, Annabelle Nellis, Joanne Austin, Richard, Gary, Jim and Charles "Joe" Nellis.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Higgs, Clifton Collins (Lisa) and Gary Collins of Homer, AK; and her siblings, Robert Nellis and Virginia Main of Emporium. She is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
