He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Serrano and Azilda Ardine; and his brother Ken Serrano. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Serrano (Fichtner); his children, Dustin Serrano (Georgianna) and Challon Cheyney; his stepchildren, Julie Alvarenga (Eduardo), Tony Molino (Lee Ann) and Michael Molino (Kaitlin); his grandchildren, Ariel, Aurora, Obi, Dreyer, Nesso, Eduardo, Tulio and Hiromi; his brothers, Ernie Serrano (Tina) and Ron Serrano (Nicole); his mother-in-law Stephanie Fichtner; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Fichtner, Denise Merrill (Mark), Cindy Stephenson, Becky Lagnese (John) and Rob Fichtner (Michelle). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc. (3343 PA-130, Harrison City, PA 15636). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Barbara Catholic Church (111 Raymaley Rd, Harrison City, PA 15636).
Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to the St. Barbara's Christmas Angels or Choir or the ALS Foundation.
