She was loved and cherished by many people including: her fiancé Tim Hauser of Lehighton; her former husband James G. Rehrig; her parents, Sandra R. Mertz Marenchick (Heiser) of Lehighton and Donald W. Mertz; her stepsister Monica (Liam); and her cousin Jeri Vanage.
